Josh Heupel is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on March 22, 1978 in Aberdeen, South Dakota, United States. Joshua Kenneth Heupel (born March 22nd in 1978) is a famous American professional footballer and coach. He was a player as well. The head coach is coach of football for the University of Central Florida (UCF). He was appointed to the post in December 2017 after the departure of Scott Frost, who left for the head coaching position at Nebraska. Heupel played in the NCAA football tournament as a quarterback for his team, the Oklahoma Sooners. In his college career He was deemed an undisputed All-American He was also awarded numerous awards and helped lead Oklahoma to win the 2000 BCS National Championship. After two years of unsuccessfully trying to be a part of the NFL squad (featuring brief periods in The Miami Dolphins and the Green Bay Packers), Heupel was appointed an assistant coach. He was the co-offensive coordinator of Oklahoma until January 6, 2015 after which he was dismissed. He was promoted to assistant head offensive coordinator, coach and the quarterbacks’ coach at the Utah State University (USU) Aggies on January 23rd the 23rd of January, 2015. After just one season at USU He was then hired by Barry Odom’s team as a coach at UCF. University of Missouri, where he served as the offensive coordinator prior to being offered the first coaching job at UCF.
Heupel was chosen at the six-round of the NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. Due to shoulder tendinitis that afflicted his arm that thrown him, he was moved to the fourth string for the entire preseason . He did not make the team.
Heupel spent the 2004 season as a graduate assistant for Oklahoma under head coach Bob Stoops. In 2005, Heupel was hired as the tight ends coach at the University of Arizona by newly appointed head coach Mike Stoops, Bob’s brother and an Oklahoma assistant coach during Heupel’s playing days.
Heupel became the quarterbacks coach for Oklahoma in 2006. In that capacity he coached Sooner quarterback Sam Bradford, who won the Heisman Trophy in 2008. On December 13, 2010, Bob Stoops named Heupel and Jay Norvell as co-offensive coordinators at Oklahoma, replacing Kevin Wilson, who had accepted the head coaching job at Indiana. Stoops said Heupel would be in charge of calling offensive plays during games. Heupel was fired in January 2015 following an 8−5 season capped by a 40−6 loss to Clemson in 2014 Russell Athletic Bowl.
Heupel has been the Heisman Trophy second-place finisher in 2000. The player was also an All-American and He was also named the AP player of the Year, and an Walter Camp Award winner. Heupel helped lead his team of Sooners in a perfect campaign and won the national championship by beating Florida State in the 2001 Orange Bowl.

He was a student at Central High School in Aberdeen in the state of Aberdeen, where he played high school football with the Central Golden Eagles. At the end of the game in his second year of football, 1994, the player was his Golden Eagles’ quarterback in an adapted version of the run-and-shoot offense. In his senior year Heupel was named South Dakota’s athlete for the year. Heupel was able to pass for 28,308 yards and 2,308 touchdowns, while sharing time with Salanoa. He was later offered an offer to play at Utah State’s scholarship program. Utah State, but committed to Oklahoma after a meeting in person with Bob Stoops the Sooners’ new head coach.
He was then later signed by the Green Bay Packers in the early 2002 offseason, but was released a month before training camp. He did not pursue a career in professional football afterward.
